23 Nov little monday soiree
Monday’s are often such a drag. Getting into them is a drag and getting out of them is even more of a drag, as the realisation that you have an entire week of hard work and commitments hits you.
This Monday however, after a hectic day of shooting, packing and lugging around stock for returns, I had something to look forward to as I made my way to The Street in Greenside for the Little Monday Soiree hosted by Tamara Dey from Flash Republic.
I arrived at The Street, a creative, London shopping culture inspired space stocking some of the freshest street fashion brands like Cheap Monday and RVCA as well as bespoke designers like jewellery designer Joanna Claire, and immediately ran into the lovely Elma Smit from MK and 5FM and Tamara Dey looking through the rails of clothing.
And that right there set the tone for the evening for me. An intimate, fun and gentle way to end a Monday, shopping for some – window shopping for me- whilst listening to the new Flash Republic album “Killer Moves” and being treated to a live exclusive performance by Tamara herself.
