I was really happy to get it for several reason:
1. I love lime
2. I love top to bottom zip up dresses
3. I love the silhouette - tulip shapes are my favorite things
4. I had nothing to wear to Audi Joburg Fashion Week
5. I love dresses
6. I could wear it with my trusted and comfy grey platform heels from Woolworths

Last week Saturday, my friends and I (the pink lyte crew) went to a soft launch of a new online boutique called My London Shopper -it seems as if online shopping is finally becoming something of the present for South Africans - and I purchased several items, as well as made some orders, which you can do, because the gorgeous Sindi offers a service we all need and want... She becomes your bestest friend in the world ever because she lives in London and provides a personal shopping service for girls like me, who covet the delicious and lovely things I see in Harper's Bazaar or on the Top Shop website.

I bought these fantastic shoes, which my friends don't like at all... I could tell by their muted responses to my elation, but I don't care because I am in love and these shoes are going to be my life...

happiness in the new year for emma watson

I know it’s the 12th of January and that everyone is just about over saying “Happy New Year” and all that… and on that thought when is it officially not a new year anymore? But I haven’t posted anything this year and I couldn’t imagine just going right in there and posting about how I am so very jealous of Emma Watson because for the second time this season she is Burberry’s girl. Bloody hell, the girl is 19! Nine- Teen! I can’t deal, but she looks fantastic and has that quiet and natural sophistication that I believe is Burberry.

Enough with the rant that’s actually such a compliment to miss Watson (but also just an envy filled compliment, because I do love Burberry and their Spring / Summer 2010 look is fantastically cool and those knotted trenches are covetable and I dream, oh, I dream of one getting home and finding one hanging in my wardrobe…
