I'm going away to Hazyview tomorrow and being the wonderful and beautiful person that she is Nola opened up her sale to me and some others, who can't make it tomorrow, so that we could get our fix of stuff that's nice. Designer labels, gorgeous jewellery and handbags...this girl had no choice but to spend spend spend!

stuff that's nice is having a second trunk sale

Girls don't readily share where they find clothing or accessory gems. How many times have you been asked by another girl "Where'd you get that from?" and for a split second you consider not telling her, in case she buys the same colour as you. I mean it happens... fashion copycats - girls who'll go out and completely mimic your look.

I have sisters so sharing is not an issue for me, which is why I felt it necessary to let you know about the second “stuff that’s nice” sale. Pink Lyte blogged about the first sale and I can’t tell you how many emails, facebook inbox messages or interrogations at parties I received about this sale.

So… the sale is run by Nola Williams this awesome lady who decided to have these sales because she loves stuff that’s nice and sharing is caring. The sale is happening this Saturday from 10am to 6pm at Ailsacraig B&B, 6 Grafton Avenue, Craighall Park (opposite Giles). So go and join in on the fun on Saturday for a glass of wine and beautiful clothes

i heart fashion

This is becoming somewhat of a habit... I'm kidding...but you can imagine how exciting it is to be spotted at fashion week "stylin on ninjas" and then to have that picture appear in Elle Magazine with Sarah Jessica Parker on the cover!

Speaking of Sarah Jessica Parker…Sex and The City 2 is starting this month! I wonder if the same excitement will reign amongst the super fashionable and those who aspire to be fashionable. Having fallen in love with the four New York girls when the series started on SABC 3 and Carrie’s hair was still a mousy brown and very very curly, it pains me to say that I am not as excited as I was when the first movie came out, simpy because “ I don’t like Big” and never have, even when he 'gasp' got her "the closet." He’s a douche.

I am however keyed up to see what fashionable look Patricia Field will conjure up for me to translate into my everyday life. Remember the studded belt Carrie wore with deliciously gorgeous girly dresses? I went looking for studded belt the first moment I got, and like every other girl cinched my waist at every turn.Carrie in that floral vintage green dress and the studded belt is why I love fashion, because you can go wherever you want to with clothes, create a new sensibility by mix things that aren’t supposed to go together and if fashion is innate to you then it will all balance out. You won’t have to doubt it and feels fantastic to know that you love the way you look today.
