the week of launches - adibus launch
So, tomorrow night I'm going to the Adidas Originals Adibus Launch at the Adidas Originals Store in Melrose Arch. I am really excited to get some Adi gear and listen to Kenzhero and DJ Bob play. And after seeing a glimpse of the actual mini- bus whilst driving through Killarney tonight I'm pretty sure it'll be lots of fun and games and drinking and fun and music. All the things Thithi likes!
bloggers dinner
Last week Thursday I had the pleasure of sitting around a table with some of Johannesburg's coolest bloggers at 54 on 6th. Whilst I totally revelled in the fact that I made the cut, my favourite part of the evening was showcasing my new hair do and getting to put some faces to the blogs I love to look at.

| Wish I took a full length picture of my 2 favourite things - Military inspired dress from MSC Boutique and the tassled waistcoat from Avant Apparel |
I feel like I need to say a little something about the tassled waistcoat from Avant Apparel. When I was in the studio with the girls they took me through how long it takes to make the waistcoat and how all the little bits of 'tassle' are hand sewn. I mean, have you ever. When you see this waistcoat and feel its gorgeous weight, you'll be able to fathom just how ridiculous and impressive that is.

real designers do real work!
The other day I visited the lovely girls from Avant Apparel and found Bailey sitting with a needle and thread and working on something beautiful. I was actually really excited that I caught this moment and got to see their work space. Can you tell I'm obsessed with Lauren and Bailey and Avant? Can you?

modeontwerpers
My little, unexpected adventures in my hometown, led me to this lovely boutique called Modeontwerpers in Waterkloof, Pretoria. So quaint and charming, I loved the fact that the little centre the store is located in feels like one of those places you stop over at when you're on a long road trip and you need to stretch your legs in a small town. Not to say that Pretoria is a small town...
