cheers to the freakin weekend: One big room, full of bad bitches - kreayshawn - gucci gucci
Like a car crash I can't stop watching. I do have to ask though, what is she on about? And why would one write this line: "I got the swag and it's pumping out my ovaries." Nonetheless. Car crash. Can't stop watching. I'm trying to though, because I'm not sure I can condone the silliness that is Kreayshawn. Still. Car crash. Watching

Introducing Yang Zhao also known as super woman aka @yangisung.
You might know her from Doe Tees fame, but this multi-talented lady is awesome because of exactly that. if you read my Vashtie blog post you have to know how much I admire people who do what they want to do and who are successful working in multiple fields. I feel really lucky to be surrounded by really cool and phenomenal women who do cool ish on the regular. Follow her on Twitter because that's the main point of this and check out her blog Doepelganger.
Q: What would you add to your wardrobe if you could anything?
A: If I can find good ones, I would add some more hats to my wardrobe..
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I don't really know how to call my current style in fashion terms, I guess I want to look as comfortable, confident, and chilled as possible... I've started to like a more sophisticated and mature style lately, and also love the idea of a balance between the masculine and feminine in a person's dress sense...sensible but free spirited is really sexy too.....these are my intentions.
Q: What artist /song/band are you listening to at the moment?
A: At this very moment, Made in Height, Sonnymoon, Baths, Balthazar, TokiMonsta, Thabile Rasa (!)
Q: What makes you happy?
A: Karl Pilkington, Sunshine, traveling, music (lots of it), laughing, affectionate people, food (!), and porn star martinis (nomnom) and someone special ;-)
Q: What is your favourite city in the world?
A: Cities...I think I have more than one...I find that many cities have their appeal in different ways. I like Berlin, it has a dark energy and very cool people living there. I love the French Rivera for the sunshine and calm sea...Luanda in Angola is fun...Antwerp has amazing architecture... Hong Kong is an efficient place and very clean and I like Johannesburg and Beijing, for their pulse and cultural diversity. I love Cape Town, where I live now, for its beauty...and finally, my hometown, GuangZhou, cause some of my favorite people are there, and I wish I could teleport myself there whenever I want to see them, pity it's so far.

tribal x animal print x pink vans
The photo of me laughing was taken by genius photog Tyrone Bradley - http://www.tyronebradley.co.za/
And where did I wear this outfit might you ask? Out at Red Bull Beat Battle where I was working behind the scenes. I have a rule: just because you're working behind the scenes at an event, doesn't mean you're allowed to look like you're going camping. In fact, you're never allowed to look like you're going camping, even when you are going camping. So with this rule in mind, and my walky talky looking all official and ish, I wore a slouchy tribal print jacket from Australian label Sass from Stuttafords, paired with a pair of brown slouchy shorts from Gap, a leopard print blouse from Top Shop and of course a pair of pink Vans. Event Crew Steez.

must have: french connection clutch at stuttafords
This past weekend, in between working on an incredible event, not sleeping and drinking outlandish amounts of Red Bull, I popped into Stuttafords and found this beautiful clutch at French Connection. I think I might have to break my rule for 2011 to not buy a new handbag or clutch.

the stuttafords project
Every Monday I will be bringing you a new and really exciting regular blog post in collaboration with Stuttafords.
As one of a couple of bloggers selected by Stuttafords the "world of brands" to go in store and give you weekly updates on what is in store, I feel like it is my duty to point out that I feel like my middle name should be "Lucky" because this year I truly have been blessed.
Home to an array of phenomenal brands like French Connection, Witchery, Religion, Animale and Gap to name a few; this won't be hard. It's everything Thithi Loves... clothes, shoes and shopping.

zara...nuff said
Last night (its 11:24pm! on Thursday) I was lucky enough to be invited to the opening of the Zara store in Sandton City. I don't have much to say about the clothes, because if you have ever received anything, be it a scarf or basic vest from Zara you know that Zara is actually retail heaven. The clothes are fashionable, the basics are amazing and I'm pretty sure we're going to be seeing a whole lot more fashionable individuals roaming the streets. So, with that said... Here's who was there...
@Zamzam_24's entire look from her hat to her floor length pants. Amazing.
Voila's Kelly Fraser in this sick Kluk gold jacket. How do you feel? Amazing
Two of my favourite people. The lovely @CheskaLiackman and handsome @_TOOLZ_
This woman is phenomenal! Love her! @_IAmLeAnne_
Nicole Van Heerden - the sickness of your style must be acknowledged
@GeeMosley and my @GabyTrathen from Styling Concepts
Amazing Seventeen Editor @janine_j
@LoveChildYola looking gorgeous as always
I wanted this skirt. Hope is still there when I go back
I have always had a thing about orange and pink
@Tumi_Voster... Beautiful
Skirt of the event - sheer, pleated and maxi!

two things i loved this week
My weeks and weekends are becoming increasingly manic and full of work, so it has been a minute since I posted on two things I loved this week because I suppose it is a little bit difficult to take time out and say "you know what, that was a good time" or "that was really lovely and I enjoyed it."
This week I loved:
1. The Religion Sale at Styling Concepts. I bought some incredible items marked down to basically nothing.

The photo is dangerously cropped so you don't see what a psycho shopaholic I am
2. Junk On Me's 8th Birthday Party at Changeroom, Pimville. What a good day / night out. All I really want to say about this party is that - there is so much stuff to do in Johannesburg and so many people to meet at all these things. Also, that Kid Fonque is dangerously talented, Kenzhero is amazing and VigiLante and Dimplez honestly made my evening on Saturday.

I had thoughts about ripping this bag off this guy. I mean I know I could have taken him

VigiLante and Dimplez... I have so much loved for MVD
