20 Jul A Day in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
This vacation to New York has been completely out of hand. The days are filled to the brim with a combination of things that more so than often include shopping, a cocktail or two and sweat fest in the subway. Two days ago, Vie and I hurried over to Williamsburg Brooklyn to check out the Paul Smith Sale Store and ended up in some cute boutiques before getting caught in a flash flood and getting drenched because we never imagined that the heat would ever end.

Whilst taking a walk down Grand Street to find a place to eat lunch we came across this cute, girly boutique called Pop. Filled with rails of pretty dresses and delicious blouses, shoes and accessories; Vie and I found ourselves walking into the dressing rooms with hangers of pretty dresses and skirts, whilst sharing a few laughs with the two lovely girls working at the boutique. We even ran into Oscar, the Keeshond that “works” at the store, who even had his own Facebook Page, which I found highly amusing.
Undeterred by my purchase at Pop, Vie spotted a vintage store called Rabbits, which we quickly popped into, and I again exercised my right to swipe my card and bought a pair of denim cut offs, that I promptly changed into because of the heat.
Lunch at Lodge was the next stop… Salad, a bowl of amazing sweet potato fries and a cocktail!
