collective market

Yesterday was the official launch event of Collective, a market based concept owned and conceptualised by Catherine Corry on the rooftop of number 3 Desmond Rd in Kramerville, Johannesburg South Africa. The market, which starts at 15:00 on Saturday (which means you still have time to Neighbourgoods it, if you are still into that type of thing) is  a collective  of design, jewelry, vintage collections, ceramics, fabric, furniture, imported clothing, accessories, home ware and all-round beautiful products in one  space. From Maria McCloy (who I ended up buying an entire outfit from), to SUPER Sunglasses, to my absolute new brand crush menswear label Augustine, to Milk Teeth, to BRAK furniture; the Collective market is a great alternative market with something for everyone and something special and bespoke for everyone. If you missed out on the opening day, you can still go through today (Sunday 2 December 2012) till 16:00 on the rooftop of number 3 Desmond Rd, Kramerville.

I ran into one of my besties @VieArem of VieMyselfAndI and her precious and incredibly stylish son Amani. Boys in Johannesburg really need to up their threads because toddlers like Amani are styling on them in a major way. All I am saying is… if he can do it, so can you!
