Grown and fun by Radley London

I think I might be at that age where I need to invest in “real” handbags. The kind of handbags you can still use years from now because they aren’t adorned with spikes or studs or made from synthetic materials. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with those handbags, I have loads of them because I get bored quickly, so cheaper, or should I rather say, budget knock offs are perfect purchases to appease my short attention span.

Serendipitously, the universe heard my call for a “real” handbag – serious, but with a Peter Pan complex, like me – with the official launch of Radley London in South Africa at selected Stuttafords stores. Established in London in 1988 Radley London is known for it’s creative design, attention to detail, precise craftmanship and its adorable Scottish Terrier mascot. Radley is also about colour and fun, which is something I got a preview of on Tuesday at the Radley London SS14 collection preview held at Atholl Place.
As an affordable luxury brand Radley London’s price range at selected Stuttafords stores ranges from R1600 to R3800 for a selection of premium leather wallets and handbags. From the popular Radley Pocket bag, to the covetable single or double strap Grosvenor, the laptop and iPad friendly Pippin, there is a handbag for everyone and every purpose. The only thing I can imagine anyone deliberating over intensely when it comes to Radley London’s handbag selection is colour. Rhubarb, apple, rose, lavender, buttercup, cornflower? Or just plain, simple and slick: black or tan?”
