Oh You Fancy Huh?

It’s so easy to support your friends if they’re doing good and amazing things. I met Jamal Nxedlana of Missshape and Anthea Poulos aka Anthea Knows Best a while ago and have been privileged enough to call them friends since then. Last year Missshape collaborated with Anthea Poulos as part of Ambassadors: a series of creative collaborations with individuals or brands. The collection, which showed at the 2013 Durban Fashion Fair to critical acclaim, finally went on sale to mere mortals like myself last week Thursday at a pop up shopping event at RAD in Craighall, Johannesburg and well… as you can tell from this outfit post I shopped. This sweater is amazing, individual, completely well made and produced on these shores. You know how I feel about shopping local, and designers like Missshape are making it so much easier to do by producing garments like this sweater.
