Loréal Pure Red Lipsticks

0 Loreal Infallible Pure RedsI have never been afraid of wearing colour on my lips. In fact, I have so many lipsticks in so many colours that I can with all honesty declare that if you are having a bad day or just hung over, a splash of lip colour can change everything. I wear lipstick everyday from lilac and purple hues like MAC’s Up The Amp and Heroine to Elizabeth Arden’s Electric Pink; but my everyday wear lip colours are made up of a range of nude shades and a selection of daytime friendly reds, like the three L’oreal Pure Red lipsticks I am wearing in this post.

I know a lot of women who say things like “I can’t wear red lipstick” and because I am not a beauty blogger I will definitely not attempt to give direction on how to pick the correct red lipstick for your skin tone. With that being said, I will say that I do believe that red lipstick is definitely the one colour I would recommend every woman add to her lipstick collection and that with the right red or reds you can do anything, be anything and get out of any mood you might be in. As Gwyneth Paltrow once said “Beauty to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kick-ass red lipstick.”

Inspired and named after L’oreal Paris’ muses – Blake Lively, Laetitia Casta, Frieda Pinto, Jennifer Lopez, Julianne Moore, Liya Kebede, Doutzen Kroes, and Eva Longoria – the L’oreal Paris Color Riche Exclusive Pure Reds collection is a range of 8 unique matte reds all developed to give every woman the perfect shade to enhance her beauty. Rich in colour, the lipsticks are formulated from pure pigments and jojoba oil, which means that these matte lipsticks don’t cake and feel velvety and moisture rich upon application.

In order: the Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez and Julianne Moore
