Mesh on Mesh

mesh on meshI think it’s safe to say that I am going through an obsession with mesh at the moment. Perfect for summer and winter because of how you can just layer it over something heavier if it gets cold; mesh has a certain kind of modernity about it. With its heritage in sports apparell; this netted fabric is now being used to create beautiful skirts, dresses and capes like the one I wore from Rich Mnisi in my previous mesh related post. I’m not one for trends, in fact I bought this mesh Country Road skirt over two years ago;  but if I were to recommend a piece to buy to complement the current sports-luxe & normcore zeitgeist in fashion; I’d say get a separate (top or skirt or pants) in mesh or with mesh detailing. That way you can  wear the trend and not have the trend wear you, by styling said item up or down with other pieces in your wardrobe. teeteenteta blog 2 teeteenteta blog 3 teeteenteta blog 4 teeteenteta blog 5

I don’t know what you do to make mesh look so good on you, because I know how ridiculous I would look if I ever tried it.
