Last week Thursday, Friday and Saturday are a blur of heels, hair, battery pack chargers, getting dressed in my car, Chu, Kelly,Roxanne and Tiaan making my laugh in the FROW, my beautiful Aqeelah and of course sunglasses. It’s been a while since I have attended a full fashion week and man have I forgotten how exhausting and intense it can be. On Saturday, when I arrived late after kind of intentionally missing David Tlale, because I couldn’t fathom waiting around off site, all I kept thinking is NYFW etc is over 6 days long. How would I cope?
Last year I had a massively amazing time at MBFWJHB with Sunglass Hut because of their exceptional media lounge and this time around was even better because I was lucky enough to be one of their #SunglassHutMBFW Fash Pack bloggers reporting live from the FROW on Twitter and reviewing shows on Sunglass Hut Inner Circle. Miu Miu sunglasses in tow; I rushed to Melrose Arch everyday, whipped out my camera to capture some well dressed and interesting people and sat front row; taking photos and marvelling at some of my favourite shows : Suzaan Heyns, Rich Mnisi, Selfie and Leigh Schubert to name a few – all of which I will be reviewing more in depth in the week.
In the mean time, this is what I wore… Which look is your favourite?
