09 Oct Get This: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
As someone who generally can’t be bothered to remove her make up after a long day for various reasons ranging from ineffective makeup removal wipes to the thought of water on my face at 1am after going out not being fun, the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is literally a godsend. Dramatic much? I know, but seriously though, since I started using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water as part of the #GarnierComeClean challenge, my white pillowcases are white and removing my makeup before going to bed no longer feels like the hardest thing I will ever do in my life.
You know how you sometimes you wake up to find mascara on your white pillow case even after you used make up removal wipes? This won’t happen with the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Micellar water is a quick and effective make up removal solution developed in France during the 90s. Coining its name from the tiny micelles (microscopic oil spheres or molecules) that dissolve impurities, this mild and non-irritating solution does a thorough job of removing your make up gently when used with a cotton pad.
If you have sensitive skin (which I do), the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for sensitive skin is literally perfection and comes highly recommended by me. Hypoallergenic and perfume free it literally feels like you are removing your makeup with special magic water that gets everything off, including that stubborn liquid liner.
At approximately R80 for a 400ml bottle at Clicks, Garnier Micellar Water is really value for money if you consider that it promises 200 uses based on 2ml per cotton pad. Whether that is true or not given that a little bit more is required when removing waterproof mascara, it’s still a lot more affordable when compared to other products in the market.
